FLATWORK: The one-day program includes an explanation of the testing process, as well as administration of the two-hour written examination. Study material is available in English and Spanish. Recertification (for those whose certification has expired) requires successful completion of the written exam or show 10 hours documented continuing education from an approved source. Registration form for the exam can be obtained from the ICAPA web site, icapaidaho.org. Costs are $375.00 for ICAPA members, $460.00 for non-members. Costs include the publication ACI CP-10 3rd Edition Craftsman Workbook for ACI Certification of Concrete Flatwork Finishing, one copy of Work Experience Form, the course exam and ACI grading of the exams. There is no practical test offered. Experience Forms to qualify as Finisher or Advanced Finisher can be found on the ACI website as well as on the ICAPA web site and must be filled out and mailed to ACI.
